Food definitely changed within the last 6 months, I ordered extra teriyaki sauce and clearly didn’t get it, the sauce is actually what makes the meal great. I was asked to rate the food on my way to pick up the order I gave it a 9 now I take it back 🙄
The chicken Teriyaki was amazing, and the fried was was good, but I give the rice a 5 out of 10. The service was friendly fast. Food was cook to order.
Placed an order for 3 buckeye rolls with no tempura or crunch ontop online. (Done this numerous times where I select no tempura with no issue, and they just don’t add the stuff ontop) Came into the store got my order went back to the car and saw the receipt said no tempura but it was added ontop still. Showed to a worker inside and basically tried to gaslight me that I didn’t click something right on the site for ordering, showed her there’s only one button for removing tempura and that it hadn’t changed since I made any order before. Told me no refund initially then said she could do a store credit, no I want my money back for the 3 orders that were wrong. I mean think about it, I’m on the way back from work now the food is wrong, and I’m out of my money I spent. Told her I wasn’t interested in any credit if I couldn’t receive a refund for a clear mistake. Asked to speak to someone in charge and she said the woman behind her was the one who just told her to what to tell me. Pretty abysmal for customer service. Been going to this place for almost 10 years, since it was called Sakura . Will not return. Thanks.
I tried this place based on a couple good reviews from friends, but I won't lie, I was not impressed.
The service was amazing! I messed up my online order and the lady fixed it promptly. And the place was very clean.
Now the food on the other hand left something to be desired. It seems overly Americanized and low in quality. The fried rice was very disappointing, but the veggies and chicken were nice. The yum yum sauce was okay, the crab Rangoon tasted very cheap, and the sushi is very heavy on the rice.
There are some high quality Japanese restaurants in the area and I'd rather spend a little more money for better quality food. To me this felt like the McDonald's of Japanese food.

It’s a nice little place, staff are very friendly, foods a bit on the pricy side. Salads was fresh, dumplings were good. The teriyaki steak was burnt though, 1/3 I tossed Bc it was too hard to chew. Also way too much wasabi for 4 pieces of sushi, can save some food cost there. Maybe the other entrees may turn out better
The staff was attentive kind and informative. The food now they didn't have any fried rice so I was forced to get white rice but it was actually good. Being the last customer of the night I still got great service.
This was my weekly go-to (sometimes more than once) for lunch until the longtime cook moved on for better opportunities. Unfortunately, the other cook is incapable of producing the same quality control as the previous person. I have tried on multiple occasions since then and it has been one disappointment after the next.
I will not be going back to this place. The food is not cooked like it used to be and the service is extremely slow. Ordered hibachi they didn't fry the rice & chicken tasted like pepper & salt overall the flavor for hibachi was not there at all. However, the cashier was nice & keeps the place clean.
This place has HORRIBLE WORKERS AND MANAGERS!! I had ordered some food with extra chicken and they put some NASTY STRINGY CHICKEN IN IT instead of the nice chucks of chicken that come in it!! Called and was told it was my fault and got hung up on. Too bad they are nasty because foods decent but I WILL NOT RETURN!!
